Ferry Beach is a retreat and conference center located on the coast of southern Maine offering engaging programming in the areas of arts & culture, education, spirituality, sustainability, personal growth and social justice & action. Our beautiful 32-acre beachfront campus features many meeting and celebration spaces, a variety of lodging options, wide porches and outdoor gathering spaces, an art studio, an outdoor chapel, a performing arts space, and a wonderful dining center. It is a place of renewal and rejuvenation for families, couples, and individuals and a safe haven for those in minority communities. Ferry Beach embraces radical welcome, ensuring that everyone is able to participate and engage in our events and activities.
The Ferry Beach fund supports our general operational and maintenance needs throughout the year. Friends and Members support Ferry Beach through annual membership fees, one-time gifts, sustaining donations, year-end giving, capital campaign donations and with legacy and memorial giving. Donations to our scholarship fund help us share youth and family camps to struggling families.
Annual capital fundraising campaigns help Ferry Beach work toward improvements and modernization of the buildings on our 119-year-old campus. Recent capital campaigns brought heating and cooling into our theater building and helped us build an ADA compliant boardwalk to our beach.
Annually, Ferry Beach holds our “Fall Festival” silent auction with items donated from our membership and the local business community. Funds raised at this event are used to help with our operational and maintenance needs.
Corporations may support our facility maintenance and modernization needs by providing monetary or in-kind donations, sponsoring and supporting our events and activities, participating in vendor give-back donations, and by holding corporate events & programs at our facility. We are always seeking volunteers to help donate their time and talents by serving on our board.
Supporting Ferry Beach can provide us with more opportunity to partner with other nonprofits by creating programming and events in aligned areas of focus. Supporting Ferry Beach also helps us bring our mission out to our local community and the southern Maine region.
