Welcome to the inaugural issue of Senior Smart. We were thrilled to be contacted by Mainebiz to partner with them as a major sponsor of this new and important publication serving Maine’s seniors.
Maine is the grayest state in the country and our seniors are faced with many unique financial challenges as they plan for and live out their golden years in the Pine Tree State.
Our team of three Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) and seven support staff have collectively been providing comprehensive and customized wealth management services to hundreds of Maine seniors since 1989.
Currently we provide financial planning and investment management services to over 400 Maine families and institutions who have entrusted us to grow and protect $540 million of their hard -earned treasure.
The advisors at Golden Pond have had articles concerning senior financial issues published in Forbes, Downeast, Mainebiz, Maine Seniors and the Journal of Financial Planning.
Our efforts on behalf of our senior clients have been recognized with accolades from Forbes Best in State Wealth Advisors, Mainebiz 40 under 40, the Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce, and the LPL Financial Executive Council.
Founded in Belgrade Lakes in 1996 and currently headquartered in Waterville, we have clients in every corner of the state and in 21 other states. We are proud to be family owned and operated and are deeply involved in supporting our local community.
We invite you to spend some time with this issue of Senior Smart and if you think you may need additional guidance or just a second opinion, please reach out to us to start a conversation.
