Earlier this year Good Shepherd Food Bank reached a key milestone in our journey to end hunger by marking a successful finish to the Campaign to End Hunger in Maine and distributing a record 33.6 million meals across the state. In addition to distributing meals to end day-to-day hunger, the Food Bank is evolving to help address the root causes of hunger. Maine’s largest hunger relief organization wants to help ensure that Mainers not only have enough food today, but that they have the security of knowing they will have enough food next week, next month or next year.
