Our goal is to create an infrastructure that unifies private and public sectors to make the downtown of Presque Isle a leader in attracting new business, innovation, and entrepreneurs. Ignite PI is a nontraditional approach to serving the community in an innovative and creative way with the intent to revitalize the downtown of the Star City. We strive to provide all of the benefits of a service-based nonprofit and restore the iconic Northeastland Hotel featuring our new Innovation Center. Our co-workspace fosters innovation and cultivates the next generation of entrepreneurs. This is our inaugural project and storefront space which strives to achieve the most innovative business model in New England. Inaugural goals include:
Individuals, corporations, business, foundations, municipalities, and community-based organizations play an integral role in supporting our organization, our programs, and the community we serve and help us meet our goals and the commitment to the community. With our inaugural year underway, we are just at the beginning of our event offerings.
Annual Speaker Series
Holiday Wishing Tree
Annual Cornhole Tournament
Innovation Symposium
We welcome contributions that support our mission. As we begin to build our new nonprofit model, our goal is to build a donor base that honors our mission. Donations of any size can be made to general operating support or specific to a program or area of interest.
We have diverse opportunities for individuals and businesses to give their gift of time and talent to help move our mission forward. Volunteer groups can assist in a variety of ways from serving at community events, preparing, serving for special holiday events, and beautifying our site. The range of volunteer opportunities is vast from guest speakers for our speaker series, business mentors and coaches, donation of business services, and site beautification. Our community benefits greatly from volunteer groups by the capacity and support they bring. We look forward to planning an engagement opportunity with your group!
