2021 Goals

  • Further enhance our excellent care to the Maine communities by providing:
  • Development Center-Based Preschool Programming, age 3-5
  • Special Purpose Private School, School-Based Day Treatment Services K-12
  • Residential treatment to children and adolescents with Autism and other mental health disabilities
  • Therapeutic Foster Care Families to children needing a home
  • Individual Case Management
  • Counseling (in home or in office)
  • Continue to strengthen our relationships within the community with our Maine Board of Associates.
  • Launch a capital campaign to secure the donations necessary to make needed improvements to our grounds and facilities.
  • Develop a supportive environment for all employees by creating a culture of engagement that attracts top talents and improving retention.
  • Grow our Foster Care Community by recruiting understanding people to provide foster care homes.

Fundraising Events/Opportunities

  • KidsPeace Charity Golf Tournament: Golf fundraiser coming in the summer of 2021
  • Hope and Healing Fund: Fund provides those items that are not considered “essentials” but are important to encourage hope and healing for the children in our care.
  • Annual Holiday Gift Giving Campaign: To support the purchase of holiday gifts for youth/families served by KidsPeace in Maine.
  • Annual KidsDay Celebration — Second Sunday in August: To support the National KidsDay celebration on the Graham Lake Campus: fun and games for all.
  • Foster Parent Recognition — May: Recognizing our foster parents with special events during National Foster Parent month!

Giving Opportunities

  • Hope and Healing Fund – The Hope and Healing Fund provides those items that are not considered “essentials” but are important to encourage hope and healing for the children in our care. This fund covers birthday gifts, Christmas and holiday gifts, special celebrations for successes achieved, opportunities to receive special lessons like learning to play an instrument or playing on a sports team, attending a special camp or event, etc. Donations can be made at KidsPeace.org/donate

Volunteer Opportunities

Maine Board of Associates – The Board of Associates members support and enhance the KidsPeace Mission by developing local resources, raising public awareness and facilitating contributions to support KidsPeace’s programs and services. Contact Dan Frye at Daniel.Frye@kidspeace.org
