1. The Maine Children’s Fund provides those items that are not considered “essentials” but are important to encouraging hope and healing for the children in our care. This fund covers school supplies, birthday gifts, Christmas and holiday gifts, special celebrations for success achieved, opportunities to receive special lessons like learning to play an instrument or playing on a sports team, attending a special camp or event, school supplies etc.
2. Graham Lake Playground Fund was established to provide the playground equipment appropriate for the children in our care on the Graham Lake Campus. We are half way there!
The easiest way to volunteer is to contact your nearest local KidsPeace office (easily found at www.kidspeace.org, choose Maine location to know more about our programs, all of our upcoming special events/fundraisers, and to donate).
