Significant professional accomplishment: My ability to cultivate and maintain an incredible network of individuals, both personally and professionally. I love finding ways to engage, whether it’s immediately or down the road. I enjoy meeting new people and making true, lasting connections. Our work may not intersect, but I may be able to connect you with someone I know.
Passion project: At the age of 12, I started as a volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House in Portland. Fast forward 12 years, and my passion for that mission and core belief in service to others have turned into the start of my career. With each expansion of my role at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine, I was able to increase our impact on the community — and felt blessed in knowing each day the great work we did for families and sick children.
Audacious goal: I want to continue to find creative and intentional ways to do good in my community. Always stay curious, lead by example and be kind.
Favorite quote: “Stay afraid but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.” — Carrie Fisher
Influential book: “The Gifts of Imperfection,” by Brené Brown
Favorite TV shows or movies: I’m all over the place! Fairly high on my movie list would be “The Princess Bride.” I also enjoy Marvel or DC movies — even the terrible ones — and some of Robin Williams’ classics like “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “The Birdcage.” On TV, I like a wide range, including “The Great British Bake Off,” “Doctor Who,” “Ted Lasso” and “Gilmore Girls.”
How do you recharge: Being near any body of water. I feel most at peace and able to reset and reflect. I also love time spent with friends and family and enjoying great food.
