Significant professional accomplishment: Being selected as the next chief executive officer of LifeFlight of Maine. It’s an absolute honor to get to work at such a reputable, mission-driven organization.
Passion project: My two boys, ages 4 and 6, are my passion project. Spending time with them and trying to see the world through their eyes helps to continually refine my worldview.
Audacious goal: In my work, my goal is to ensure the future of LifeFlight’s promise to the people and visitors of Maine that in their time of need, we will do all we can to be there for them. In my personal life, my goal is to raise my children as kind, free-thinkers who want to do their small part to make the world a better place.
Favorite quote: “Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it, we go nowhere.” — Carl Sagan
Influential book: “The Servant: A Simple Story About the True Essence of Leadership,” by James Hunter
Favorite movies or TV shows: “Ted Lasso,” “Inglourious Basterds,” “Airplane,” “Shawshank Redemption,” “Apollo 13,” and “Top Gun” (the original)
How do you recharge: I enjoy cycling and traveling and it’s an added bonus when I can combine the two. In addition, Maine has so much to offer in all seasons. I like to just disconnect.
