Karyn Scharf Morin has been promoted from senior vice president to chief operations officer at Partners Bank.
Morin will assume leadership responsibility for loan and deposit operations, customer care, branch operations, customer experience and facilities.
“Karyn has always been a critical member of the Partners Bank team, and I am extremely confident that she will continue her track record of success in this new role,” said a top bank executive, Anthony Cataldi.
Cataldi and Morin are part of wider changes in the bank's C-suite.
As announced earlier this spring, President and CEO Blaine A. Boudreau plans to retire this year. He will give up his duties as president on June 30, and stay on as CEO for another three months before passing the baton to Cataldi, who currently serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Morin joined Partners Bank in 2016 as the senior retail banker and retail department manager. She oversaw strategic direction and business development for retail lending and underwriting.
She was promoted to senior vice president, chief deposit officer, and was responsible for overseeing all deposit-related activities, including product development, pricing, marketing and customer relationship management.
Outside of her work at Partners Bank, Morin has served as treasurer of the board of trustees for the Ogunquit Museum of Modern Art and has recently been elected president of the board.
Morin and her husband, Roger, live in South Berwick.
Partners Bank was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Sanford, with additional locations in Springvale, South Sanford, Limerick, Buxton, Waterboro, Wells and York. The bank has three branches in New Hampshire as well. Partners Bank is ranked No. 15 among the largest Maine-based banks in the Mainebiz 2025 Book of Lists.
