Argo Marketing Group of Lewiston topped the list of nine Maine companies that were named as some of the country’s fastest-growing private companies by Inc. magazine.
Inc. on Wednesday released this year’s Inc. 5000, the magazine’s annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The ranking is based on a company’s three-year revenue growth, ending in 2014. Companies must have had at least $100,000 revenue in 2011 and at least $2 million in 2014. They also must be privately held and for-profit.
