Biddeford-based Volk Packaging Corp. is inviting financial leaders in manufacturing to come together to share insights and collaborate on growth strategies at a two-day gathering in May.
The Manufacturing CFO Forum will include opportunities to discuss trends, regulatory changes and financial strategies, brainstorm on solving problems and network with peers.
“We recognize the immense pressure CFOs are under to not only manage their organizations’ finances but also to drive strategic growth," said Derek Volk, CEO of Volk Packaging, which makes corrugated cardboard boxes and packaging.
"This event is an invaluable opportunity for CFOs to connect, share best practices, and learn from one another in a supportive environment," he added. Volk told Mainebiz that the company hopes to host up to a dozen CFOs for the event.
The forum is scheduled for May 19 and 20 at Volk’s headquarters at 11 Morin St. in Biddeford. The aim is for participants to share big-picture data including annual sales and employee counts rather than company financials, the organizer said.
Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. For more information and to register, contact Derek Volk at ceo@volkboxes.com or tel. 207-571-5511.
