Artel, Pike reach deal on quarry blasts
Westbrook-based neighbors Pike Industries and Artel Inc. have come to an agreement over Pike's quarry blasting, which has been the source of complaints from various companies in the city's Five Star Industrial Park.
The Portland Press Herald reported that Artel will no longer pursue its appeal of a consent agreement Pike negotiated with another neighbor, Idexx.
Details about the agreement between Artel and Pike were not disclosed.
