As U.S. average gas prices rise, Maine’s stay steady
Gas prices in Maine remained unchanged for the second week in a row, as the average price for a gallon of gas was $2.27.
In the week ending Tuesday morning, the average national price for a gallon of gas dropped by two cents to $2.20, according to the price-tracking website Gasbuddy.
The $2.27 statewide average in Maine is higher than New Hampshire's $2.17, but lower than Vermont's average of $2.29.
