Connectivity Point Design & Installation LLC, an Auburn-based telecommunications infrastructure provider, has acquired Business Communications Systems Inc., of Leicester, Mass.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed in a Monday news release. Business Communications Systems is a telecom contractor that has served central Massachusetts since 1991.
Connectivity Point will retain BCS employees and is expected to add up to 20 new jobs in Maine and Massachusetts over the next 12 months, the company said.
The acquisition follows one in January of Creative Computer Solutions in Columbia, S.C., and the March 2018 acquisition of Computer Telephone Inc., in Warwick, R.I.
Connectivity Point, founded in 2002, now has 190 employees and offices in five states.
“The acquisition of the Leicester office will allow us to dispatch our highly skilled technicians from central and western Massachusetts to our projects throughout the region,” President Doug Watt said in the release. “Connectivity Point will now be able to respond more quickly to our growing customer base in the area.”
