The Bangor Daily News today announced a partnership with Dream Local Digital, a Maine-based digital marketing agency, to offer additional marketing services to its advertising clients. The agency will operate under the BDN Maine brand and provide social, digital and mobile media marketing, lead generation and local search services, according to a press release. The paper said its advertisers are increasingly interested in ways to use digital marketing.
Based in Thomaston, Dream Local Digital has served more than 1,000 businesses nationwide through workshops, strategy development and online marketing strategies. The agency will be based at the paper's office in Bangor. Earlier this month, Dream Local acquired two other Bangor-based companies, Mindboom Media and Mobile Marketing of Maine.
In September, MaineToday Media in Portland, owner of the Portland Press Herald, Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel, launched a digital marketing spinoff called MaineToday Digital.
