Bangor Savings gets top J.D. Power rank in NE

Bangor Savings Bank announced today it has received the top customer satisfaction score of all New England banks in an annual ranking by J.D. Power and Associates.

Through a customer survey by the Calif.-based marketing firm, the $2.8 billion Bangor bank scored 831 out of a total 1,000 points for customer satisfaction.

"This is a demonstration of the hard work and dedication of each and every one of our 750 employees in Maine," said Jim Conlon, bank president and CEO, in a prepared statement.

This is the first year the bank was included in the nationwide survey.
