Barclays: We’ll add 200 Maine jobs by 2014
Delaware-based financial services firm Barclays announced Tuesday it plans to expand the contact center in Wilton that serves its credit card customers.
The company says it will add 100 jobs by the end of this year and another 100 by the end of next year. The Bangor Daily News reported those additions would bring the total employment at the call center, which opened in 2008, to 350.
The company provides co-branded credit card services to around 40 companies, including L.L.Bean and Travelocity.
