Bath consignment shop expands ‘funky’ footprint with move
Sometimes the perfect location for your business has been right under your nose — or in the case of Becky Welsh and her Bath-based consignment shop J’Adore — the location had been next door the whole time.
Welsh celebrated the upcoming two-year anniversary of her downtown business, which was located at 192 Front St., by leaving behind the memories of that storefront and setting up shop at 190 Front St., according to The Forecaster.
The not-so-long-haul to the newly renovated location doubles the footprint of J’Adore, allowing Welsh to expand beyond the usual second-hand clothing finds at consignment shops and into offering vintage furniture and home décor.
“It just depends on if it’s funky,” Welsh told The Forecaster. “Funky sells.”
