Benchmark Real Estate announced the return of its annual holiday bash, happening Friday, Dec. 13, from 4-7 p.m., at Maine Craft Distilling in Portland.
This year, Benchmark partnered with the Center for Grieving Children to raise funds for its cause and help support the community.
The event will include free entry, complimentary bites, refreshments with non-alcoholic options, kid-friendly activities such as the Dream House Drawing Contest and stickers from Maddie Moo Designs, auction items, thank-you gifts, prizes and a giveaway of the book “Priced Out of Portland” by Benchmark’s owner, Tom Landry. There will be off-street parking.
“The Center for Grieving Children is honored to have a light shined on our work and be the recipient of Benchmark Real Estate’s generosity this holiday season,” said Gretchen Johnson, executive director of the Center for Grieving Children.
The Center for Grieving Children is a nonprofit organization that provides a safe space, loving peer support, outreach and education to grieving children, teens, young adults, families and the community. With services in Portland, Sanford and virtually, the center provides services at no cost that are led by staff and volunteers thanks to the support of the community.
