Black Bear picks casino gaming partner
Black Bear Development will partner with Las Vegas-based Silverton Casino to support development and operations of its casino under construction in Oxford.
Black Bear today announced the partnership with Silverton, a hotel and casino with more than 2,000 slot machines, live gaming tables and video poker machines, according to a press release. "As the only casino in Las Vegas that was designed to replicate the look and feel of a true New England lodge, we believe that our Silverton team is uniquely positioned to make this exciting Maine project a resounding success," said President Craig Cavileer. Both companies said they plan to begin executive recruitment tomorrow.
Maine voters in 2010 approved the $165 million casino, slated to open next spring.
