Blank Canvas Brewery trades one-way for two-way in move

The Brewer-based craft beer company, Blank Canvas Brewery, has found a new, larger home in the city — and its owners are hoping that the new location on a two-way street will give the business a healthy boost in traffic.

The Bangor Daily News spoke to the husband-and-wife owners of Blank Canvas, Stephen Genthner and Jessica Wentworth, who were celebrating moving into a larger space that includes a taproom, a game room and a setup that allows a behind-the-scene peek into the brewing process of beers like the Sidamo Brown, Maine Made Pale and Rhubarb Kolsch.

The move to 46 Betton St. also puts the brewery in a higher-traffic area compared to the one-way street Blank Canvas has called home since July 2015, the BDN reports.

“No one drove down that street,” Genthner told the BDN.
