Brewer development group names new leader
Bangor lawyer Frank McGuire was recently named president of the Brewer Economic Development Corp.
McGuire, a partner at Rudman & Winchell, was named to the post at the organization's March meeting, according to a press release. A Biddeford native and Northeastern University School of Law graduate, McGuire specializes in estate planning and administration, and employment and labor law, according to the law firm's website. He replaces Shawn Small, who has served as president for the last year, according to the Bangor Daily News.
The nonprofit development organization also approved three new members: Bob Platt, a management member at Bangor Hydro Electric Co.; Jeff Sanford, director of financial services at Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems in Brewer; and Dale Graham, practice manager at Penobscot Eye Care in Brewer.
