Gorham-based Casco Federal Credit Union said Monday it will promote its vice president of operations to president in September.
Martinique “Marti” Allen will start the president job on Sept. 1, and then take over as CEO by July 1, 2022.
Her promotion is part of the Casco FCU succession plan, with current President and CEO James Stone’s plan to retire in June 2022. He has led the credit union since 2007.
Allen grew up in Hartland and graduated from Husson College (now Husson University). She has been at the credit union more than 11 years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
The credit union also said Monday it has promoted Nichole Frazier, now vice president of lending, to executive vice president and chief lending officer. She is a Scarborough resident and graduated from the University of Southern Maine.
“Both Marti and Nicki are very proficient and experienced long-term employees who have proven their knowledge, leadership and value to our organization and dedication to our members and staff,” Stone said in a news release. “Their promotions are well deserved, and I know that the credit union will be in very capable hands for years to come.”
Casco FCU has assets of $94 million and serves 9,000 members.
So proud of you , Marti!!!
