Comfort Inn comes to Sanford
A New Hampshire development group is proposing a new hotel near Sanford's airport, which town officials hope will attract more tourists and business travelers.
Rochester, N.H.-based Airport Development LLC plans to build a Comfort Inn on a six-acre lot near the airport, according to Current Publishing. The70-unit hotel, which will include at least 2,500 sq. ft. of conference space and a library, is estimated to cost between $6 million and $8 million.
The hotel could be finished as early as next spring.
