A global engineering and planning firm, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, has opened a new office in Eliot to serve public- and private-sector clients throughout the state of Maine.
The company said in a release Tuesday that the new office will offer comprehensive infrastructure engineering and construction services, including bridge and highway design, traffic signal design, transportation planning, municipal engineering, survey and geospatial services, construction management and inspection, and project management.

“Our new office will enable us to better serve all these constituencies, with a more robust local presence and enhanced technical resources,” Ford said in a statement.
The firm has about 34,000 employees in more than 500 offices across 40 countries.
