Bangor-based Cross Insurance has hired an insurance industry veteran to lead the agency’s expansion throughout southern New England.
Cross announced Monday that Paul J. Cellucci has been named president of the agency’s southern New England region, where he will work on expanding the Cross brand through the management of a select group of agencies. Cross owns multiple agencies in the area, some of which were acquired last year.
Cellucci, who has been working in the industry for 30 years, previously served as vice president of Massachusetts-based Global Insurance. He said in a prepared statement that he is “thrilled to be joining Cross Insurance and looks forward to growing the agency’s brand.”
He added, “the Cross name is one of the most respected in the insurance world and their success and growth over the past several decades is incredibly impressive.”
Royce Cross, CEO and president of Cross Insurance, said in a prepared statement that “Paul’s extensive insurance experience makes him a perfect fit for taking on the responsibilities of this role within [Cross].”
