Elevation Burger to open third Maine store
Elevation Burger is planning to open a new franchise store in Augusta, making it the national organic restaurant chain’s third location in Maine.
The Kennebec Journal reported that the store is planning to open in mid-March in a 15,000-square-foot space at the Marketplace site on Civic Center Drive, where Chipotle Mexican Grill, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt and other retail stores are located.
The restaurant is being opened by Mark Caron and Chris DiMillo, the son of the founder of DiMillo’s floating restaurant in Portland, Tony DiMillo. Caron and DiMillo own the Elevation Burger franchises in Portland and South Portland.
