Flatbread Co. to open second Maine location
The Flatbread Co. is planning to expand beyond its Maine footprint beyond Portland, with a new restaurant slated to open in Rockport this summer.
The Courier-Gazette reported that the pizzeria chain is scheduled to open at the former Cody’s Original Roadhouse building at 399 Commercial St. on July 1. The news was confirmed by the building’s owner, Allen Mitchell.
Founded in Amesbury, Mass., the Flatbread Co. has independently-owned restaurants in Portland, North Conway, N.H.; Somerville, Mass.; and nine other locations.
Correction: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Flatbread Co. is planning to open in Rockland.
