Former UTC warehouse sold in Pittsfield

The former UTC warehouse at 129 North Main St. in Pittsfield was sold in June.
A 144,000-square-foot Pittsfield industrial building that most recently was home to Connecticut-based UTC Fire and Security, which closed in 2013, has been sold for $315,000.
The building at 129 North Main St., on 7.8 acres, was vacated by UTC in early 2015 after the company closed. At the time, UTC was the town’s largest employer, with a staff of more than 300.
NAI The Dunham Group brokered the sale, which closed June 27.
The buyer is listed as North Main Street LLC and the seller is listed as TAC LLC. Justin Lamontagne, of NAI The Dunham Group said that the buyer prefers to remain anonymous.
Cianbro Corp., based in Pittsfield, leased and then bought a separate UTC building over the last two years, at 129 Hunnewell St., which is Cianbro's training headquarters.
