Franklin Savings Bank, which operates eight branches in Maine, has promoted Katie Deming to vice president of customer service and branch manager.
Deming, who will be based out of the Farmington and Wilton locations, will oversee branch operations and lead customer service initiatives.
“It’s an honor to continue my journey with Franklin Savings Bank in this new role,” said Deming. “I’ve always been passionate about helping our customers and supporting my team, and I’m excited to build on those relationships in this capacity. Franklin Savings Bank is more than a workplace — it’s a community, and I’m grateful to be part of it.”
Deming started her career at Franklin Savings Bank in 2011 as a customer service representative. Since joining the bank, she has become integral to the customer service departments across all of its locations.
During her tenure with the bank, she has worked her way up into leadership roles, including being promoted to Farmington branch manager in 2022.
Prior to joining Franklin Savings, she was at TD Bank.
In addition to her professional achievements, the Chesterville resident is an active member of the community and supports local initiatives.

Franklin Savings Bank, based in Farmington, has offices in Ellsworth, Farmington, Jay, Mt. Blue High School, Rangeley, Rumford, Skowhegan and Wilton. The bank was founded in 1868 and today employs more than 140 people.
Franklin Savings was ranked No. 18 among the largest Maine-based banks in the 2025 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on assets of $693.6 million as of June 30, 2024.
