Franklin Savings Bank promotes longtime manager to CFO position

Franklin Savings Bank, which operates eight branches in Maine, has promoted Pam Dixon to executive vice president and chief financial officer. 

Dixon has been with the bank for over 17 years and has held leadership positions in multiple areas, including the accounting, human resources and internal audit departments.

“Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to grow with a team that’s committed to serving our community,” said Dixon. “I look forward to continuing our efforts in ensuring the bank’s financial health and in providing outstanding service to our customers.”

The Vienna resident is deeply involved in the community. She serves as the treasurer of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce board of directors and the Farmington Area Cal Ripken League. 

“Pam’s dedication to Franklin Savings Bank and her deep knowledge of the industry have been essential to our success,” said Tim Thompson, president and CEO. “Her leadership will help guide our team as we continue to serve our communities with the highest standards of financial service.”

Franklin Savings Bank, based in Farmington, has offices in Ellsworth, Farmington, Jay, Mt. Blue High School, Rangeley, Rumford, Skowhegan and Wilton. The bank was founded in 1868 and today employs more than 130 people.

Franklin Savings was ranked No. 18 among the largest Maine-based banks in the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on assets of $608.9 million as of June 30, 2023.
