Skechers USA Inc. (NYSE: SKX) will open its second Maine location in the Freeport Village Stations, following its first outlet store site in Kittery.
The new Skechers outlet store will offer casual and athletic shoes for adults and children. Freeport is home to other retailers that sell similar footwear, such as Famous Footwear Outlet and Sperry.
California-based Skechers also has five outlet locations in New Hampshire.
"We are thrilled to welcome Skechers, a multibillion-dollar global brand, to Freeport, Maine, for the first time. Our customers will appreciate the quality, value, selection and customer service Skechers will deliver in their beautiful new store at Freeport Village Station," said Alfred Yebba, chief operating officer of Berenson Freeport Associates, owners of Freeport Village Station.
Freeport Village Station includes the L.L.Bean Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, OshKosh B'Gosh and other retailers.
