Leading through change will be the theme of the Mainebiz Women's Leadership Forum on Thursday in Portland.
The discussion will be led by Christina McAnuff, executive director of the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute.
Panelists will be Jo-an Lantz, president and CEO of Geiger; Margo Walsh, founder and owner of MaineWorks; Rebecca Hatfield, senior vice president of real estate at Avesta Housing; Taja Dockendorf, founder and creative strategist at Pulp & Wire; and Briana Warner, CEO of Atlantic Sea Farms.
The workplace has changed dramatically over the last two years, and leaders have had to adjust and grow. Topics will include employee engagement and motivation, evolving leadership styles and how to build strong work cultures, adapt communications and keep operations aligned.
The session will be Thursday, from 7:30-10:30 a.m., at the Holiday Inn by the Bay, 88 Spring St., Portland. Networking, coffee and breakfast start at 7:30 a.m. The panel itself will start at 9 a.m. It will include a Q&A period.
