Goodwill Northern New England has promoted Trendy Stanchfield to serve as senior vice president of mission services.
She will oversee workforce, disability, and health care programs for the nonprofit, which provides programs, services and retail employment for people in need.
Stanchfield has been with Goodwill NNE for 12 years, most recently as senior vice president of advancement. In that position, she led the marketing and communication teams, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement efforts to build partnerships across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
She will continue that work in her new role, while also overseeing mission services.
“Because she deeply knows Goodwill NNE, I expect Mission Services will be more closely tied to every part of our nonprofit’s operations,” said Tripp Harrison, president and CEO of Goodwill NNE.
Prior to moving to Maine 12 years ago, Stanchfield led the mission and development programs in seven states for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, headquartered in Chicago.
During her time with the organization, she focused on developing and executing program services, which included clinical evaluations and care plans, programming for client summer camps, and recruiting and mobilizing volunteers. She also led fundraising initiatives, raising over $10 million during her tenure.
The Brunswick resident received her bachelor's degree in communications and media studies from the University of North Dakota.
