Home Depot to hire 450 in Maine
National home improvement retailer Home Depot has announced that it plans to hire 450 employees across its 11 stores in Maine.
The company said on Tuesday that the hiring spree is part of its plan to bring on 80,000 workers across all of its stores nationwide in preparation for spring, its busiest sales season.
Home Depot is hiring both permanent part-time and seasonal employees in sales, cashier, operations and online order fulfillment positions.
Coleman Fortin, store manager at Home Depot’s Bangor location, told the Bangor Daily News that each Maine store plans to hire about 40 workers.
