The Environmental Protection Agency's New England regional office announced four Maine winners of its 2016 Environmental Merit Awards. Martin Smith, Great Works Regional Land Trust in Ogunquit, was selected for a Lifetime Achievement Award; Penobscot Energy Recovery Co. in Orrington a Business, Industries and Technology award; and Ogunquit Conservation Commission, an Enviro, Community, Academia and Nonprofit award.
