Geiger, a family-owned promotional products distributor, has promoted a fifth-generation member of the Geiger family to vice president and general counsel.
In his new role, David Geiger will oversee all legal matters for the global organization, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, licensing, and risk management. In addition, he will oversee the company's sustainability and social responsibility efforts.
Geiger will also continue to serve as a member of the executive team and board of directors and help drive strategic growth across all aspects of the business.
“Geiger has been a leader in our industry for over five generations and my goal is to continue the great legacy established by the previous generations,” said David. “I look forward to continued collaboration with our talented associates while actively contributing to the company's enduring success.”
Geiger joined the family-owned business in 2007 in manufacturing engineering services and later served as a compliance manager.
He graduated from the University of Maine School of Law and received his bachelor's in business management from the University of Southern California.
"David has been an invaluable member of the Geiger team for many years, and we are thrilled to utilize his skillset in this expanded role," CEO and President Jo-an Lantz said. "As a fifth-generation member of the Geiger family, David has a deep understanding of not only our business but the core values that have driven our success for 145 years.”
