Kepware named 'Product of the Year' finalist
Portland-based Kepware Technologies was recently named a finalist in trade magazine Plant Engineering's product of the year awards for the company's flagship server platform.
The company was selected as a finalist for an award in the "automation and controls" category for the server system that organizes reporting from and monitoring of industrial machines.
The magazine reported that the company's server platform allows for the sharing of real-time and stored operational data between pipelines, wells and drilling rigs.
The final winners of the annual awards will be selected from votes by pre-qualified plant engineers that will be cast through Jan. 31, 2013.
