Landry/French awarded $17M Scarborough contract

Landry/French Construction was selected as construction manager for the Town of Scarborough’s new $17 million Public Safety Building.

Landry/French, which is based in Scarborough, said the project was designed by Context Architecture of Boston. The 53,000-square-foot combined police and fire station building will accommodate current public safety needs and anticipate community and staffing growth through 2041.

The facility will be located on town-owned land located adjacent to the Town Hall and bordered by U.S. Route 1 and Sawyer Road. Construction is anticipated to begin in July 2018 with estimated completion in December 2019.

Landry/French won the business through a bid process.
