Today is the final day to nominate a candidate for the 15th annual Mainebiz Next List honoring 10 dynamic business leaders who are changing Maine’s economy and making a significant impact in their industry.
Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. today. To fill out our online nomination form go to Mainebiz.biz/Next.
Here’s our criteria for nominations:
Winners will be featured in the Oct. 2 issue of Mainebiz and honored at a reception Nov. 9 at O’Maine Studios in Portland. Honorees will be notified approximately two weeks after the nomination period closes.
Mainebiz’s 2016 Next honorees were: Elaine Abbott, Eastport city manager; Tom Adams, founder and CEO of Maine Coast; Brian Corcoran, CEO and founder of Shamrock Sports and Entertainment; Melik Peter Khoury, president of Unity College; Drew Lyman, president of Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding Inc.; Charlotte Mace, executive director of Biobased Maine; James McKenna, president of Redzone Wireless LLC; Emily Smith, president of Smith’s Farm; Lucas St. Clair, president of Elliotsville Plantation Inc.; Sean Sullivan, executive director of Maine Brewers’ Guild.
