LePage, trade mission head to Latin America
Gov. Paul LePage is joining industry and education representatives for a trade mission to Mexico and Colombia this week.
The Associated Press reported the group was scheduled to leave Sunday. It is the governor’s third trade mission since taking office.
The AP reported nine businesses and educational institutions will be highlighted during the trip for their connections to the two countries. The Maine International Trade Center told Mainebiz in June that its reports showed the strongest market potential in those countries in industries like wood and composite building materials, precision metal manufacturing and energy sector supplies.
