Andwell Health Partners, a Lewiston health care provider formerly known as Androscoggin Home Healthcare & Hospice, has hired Christian Bartholomew as chief human resource officer.
In this new role, Bartholomew will streamline recruitment and other HR processes while striving to foster a culture of innovation and excellence. He will lead human resources initiatives and work to help Andwell attract, retain and develop talent to support strategic goals.
"His collaborative approach to leadership and his passion for creating people-first cultures will be invaluable as we continue to drive sustainable change and growth within our organization," said Ken Albert, president and CEO at Andwell Health Partners.
Bartholomew is an experienced executive and change agent. He brings expertise in many areas, including talent acquisition, organizational development and leadership development.
Prior to joining Andwell, he served as chief human resources officer at Tenet Health, where he led the HR function at three hospitals in and around central Massachusetts. He also held eadership roles at companies including National Health Associations, Watch Me Shine Inc., Living Innovations and L3 Technologies.
Bartholomew received a bachelor's degree in human resources and an MBA with a concentration in human resource management from Thomas College.
In July, Andwell merged with Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services. The merger was intended to combine and enhance an array of family-centered services for Maine children under the Andwell Health Partners brand. Andwell has over 700 employees.
