Northeast Charter & Tour Co. Inc. in Lewiston has acquired the assets and operating rights of a trolley and limousine service in Rockland.
The company said Thursday that its purchase of All Aboard Trolley & Limousine will allow it to add two, 45-passenger White Diamond trolleys and a 21-passenger minibus to its existing fleet. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"We are very excited to add this unique transportation option into our fleet,” Scott Riccio, president, owner and founder of Northeast Charter & Tour Co., said in a prepared statement. “Utilizing our new trolleys or charter buses adds a whole new level of eco-friendliness to any event that you're planning.”
Northeast Charter & Tour Co. employs just under 100 employees and operates out of Lewiston, Lincolnville and southern Maine, with a fleet of 23 motorcoaches and a variety of minibuses, vans, limousines, trolleys and Mercedes sprinters.
