L.L.Bean to open at second-largest U.S. mall
Freeport-based retailer L.L.Bean is planning to open its 21st out-of-state store at the country’s second-largest mall, the Mall of America in Minneapolis, later this fall.
The Star Tribune reported that L.L.Bean will become one of the mall’s anchor tenants when it opens on Nov. 10 at the 29,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Bloomingdale’s, making it the retailer’s first store west of the Mississippi River.
