Bangor-based Maine Commercial Realty’s new managing broker comes to the firm with over 19 years of commercial real estate experience.
Bev Uhlenhake served as a commercial broker at Epstein Commercial Real Estate in Bangor for 18 years and as chief development officer for Sky Villa Properties in Veazie for the past year, a position which includes property analysis, lease management and maximization.
Uhlenhake will continue to work at Sky Villa while at Maine Commercial Realty.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work on the opposite side of deals from Bev for almost two decades,” said John Bonadio, president and owner of Maine Commercial Realty. “There’s no one I trust more to work honestly, fairly and strategically to get the best deals done in Maine.”
Uhlenhake is well-known for presenting the Bangor-area market overview at the Maine Real Estate and Development Association’s annual forecasting conference, dishing out data, trends and predictions most years for over a decade.
She has served on the organization’s board since 2012 and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2018. She earned her Certified Commercial Investment Member in 2008, and in 2019, Uhlenhake was named Maine’s Commercial Realtor of the Year
In addition to her work in the commercial real estate arena, Uhlenhake has been involved in public service. She previously served on Brewer City Council, including two terms as mayor, and on the Brewer High School board of trustees.
At the state level, she was appointed as a public member to the 15-member Maine Apportionment Commission, which was responsible for redistricting the state after the 2020 census. She presently serves on the board of directors for the Northeast Workforce Development and OHI and was president of the Rotary Club of Bangor when it celebrated its centennial year.
With offices at One Merchants Plaza in downtown Bangor, Maine Commercial Realty is a commercial and investment real estate brokerage firm specializing exclusively in commercial real estate for sale, lease or exchange.
