Maine companies get $20.2M in defense contracts

Four Maine companies have recently received a total of $20.2 million in defense contracts, according to the Portland Press Herald.

Portland-based Colby Co. LLC  and Biddeford-based Oak Point Associates each received a contract worth as much as $10 million from work at the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Portsmouth, N.H.

Rockland-based Rockland Marine won a $183,500 contract for U.S. Coast Guard work. Bangor-based CMC & Maintenance Inc. won a $39,509 contract for work on the Birch Bayh Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Indianapolis.
