Maine pair wins Webby award

A Maine duo famous for their online Diet Coke and Mentos experiment has again won the Internet's most coveted award, this time for a feat involving sticky notes.

Stephen Voltz and Fritz Grobe, who call themselves EepyBird, won two "Webby" awards for a corporate-sponsored video unveiled last September that documents the pair, in their trademark lab coats, covering an office with waterfalls and wheels made of sticky notes, the Sun Journal reported. The video garnered awards in the advertising category, one by an online "people's choice" vote and the other by a professional jury.

The pair, who work in a former Buckfield meeting hall, previously won two Webbys for their Diet Coke-and-Mentos fountain video. After beating some large Madison Avenue advertising agencies for the new Webbys, they expect to receive more corporate work, the paper reported.
