Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has promoted Raymond Mayhew to the vice president of information technology operations.
With over 23 years of experience at Maine Savings and knowledge in both IT and administration, Mayhew oversee all aspects of IT operations at the bank.
“I’m incredibly honored to step into this new role,” said Mayhew. “Maine Savings has been like a second home to me for over two decades, and I’ve grown both personally and professionally here.
"I’m excited to continue pushing forward and ensuring we’re at the forefront of technology to better serve our members.”
Over the years, he has held several positions, including corporate trainer. His diverse experience includes retail operations and overseeing business applications, such as MeridianLink, which led him into the IT department.
“Raymond’s journey from administration to IT is a testament to his dedication and ability to adapt and lead in new areas,” said Adam Kavanagh, chief information officer at Maine Savings.
“His leadership in IT operations has already brought innovation and improved processes. I am confident that in his new role, he will continue to push the boundaries of what we can achieve.”
Mayhew is a graduate of Hampden Academy.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mayhew is deeply involved in his community. He serves on the Bangor Region Leadership Institute steering committee and volunteers with his local church.
