Grossman Marketing Group, a fourth-generation, print and promotional products company in Somerville, Mass., has acquired Premier Marketing Group of Manchester. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Grossman Marketing Group’s clients include athenahealth, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Columbia, Harvard and Tufts universities, Hewlett-Packard, International Academy of Arts and Sciences (Emmy Awards), John Hancock, L.L.Bean, Massachusetts General Hospital, Novocure and Zipcar.
The acquisition comes just three years after Grossman Marketing Group acquired ASAP, a Norwalk, Conn., promotional products firm, and just one year after Grossman acquired Fleet Business Products of East Hartford, Conn.
Mike Whitman, founder of Premier Marketing Group, said in a release announcing the sale that he is thrilled that his company, founded in 1995, is joining forces with “such a prestigious, well-established, growth-oriented company.”
Premier Marketing Group will become a division of Grossman Marketing Group but remain at its present location. Its clients in the health care field include Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Community Health Centers and U.S. Department of Agriculture health and nutrition programs throughout the United States.
In addition, PMG works with a number of financial services firms and universities throughout the country.
