The Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development has launched an online learning platform called MCEDOnlineU.com that offers courses for entrepreneurs.
The online platform’s first course, Launch Your Brilliant Idea, launched on Tuesday. MCED said the “affordable, online class [is] specially designed to walk aspiring entrepreneurs through the ‘what’s next of turning a dream into an executable plan.’”
The course, which costs $50, lets students go through its 25 online learning modules on an “as-time permits basis,” and it may be applied to MCED’s Top Gun Prep program. Don Gooding, MCED’s executive director and vice chairman of the Maine Angels, is teaching the course.
“Our mission is to build world-class companies,” Gooding said in a prepared statement, ”and that starts with introducing aspiring entrepreneurs to the tools and information they need to understand and navigate the challenges they face.”
